Quick answer: This post walks through recent split-level primary baths, frameless-replacing-framed remodels, and vanity mirror walls we've installed in Paramus over the past year. Every project below is one our own crew templated, fabricated and installed from our Lodi showroom about 12 minutes away — no subcontractors, no handoffs. For pricing or general services, our Paramus service-area page is the right starting point.

Shower-door highlights
Paramus's split-level housing stock is at the perfect age for frameless replacement work. Original 1970s and 1980s framed sliders are coming out by the dozens each year, replaced with frameless inline doors and bypass enclosures.
Frameless inline door in an East Side split-level
A primary bath in an East Side split-level off Forest Avenue had a 1970s framed slider that had corroded at the bottom track and was leaking into the substrate. We pulled the old frame, repaired the sub-floor area with the homeowner's GC, and installed a 3/8″ clear frameless inline door with a fixed return panel, in matte-black hinges and pull. Two-week fab, single-day install.
Frameless bypass slider in a Spring Valley raised ranch
A hall bath in a Spring Valley raised ranch had a 60-inch tub-shower with no clearance for a swinging door past the vanity. We installed a frameless bypass slider in 3/8″ clear glass on a slim top track, polished chrome. Bypass sliders are our highest-volume product in Paramus — the geometry of the split-level bath makes them the right call every time.
Low-iron L-return in a remodeled primary off Route 17
A larger split-level near the East Side gut-renovated its primary bath and wanted a 60″ by 36″ L-return frameless enclosure with low-iron glass and brushed-brass hardware. The low-iron upgrade was worth every dollar — the new white subway tile finally read truly white instead of the faint green you get from standard clear at 3/8 of an inch.

Mirror work in Paramus is mostly bathroom-scale, but the larger East Side homes drive a steady share of full-wall vanity runs.
Full-vanity polished-edge mirror in an East Side colonial
A primary bath in an older East Side colonial ran a single 72-inch by 40-inch polished-edge mirror across the full vanity above a double sink, anchored above the new wall sconces with French cleats. The continuous single-panel look reads completely differently from two separate mirrors over each sink.
Two matching beveled mirrors over a powder-room pair
A powder room in a Spring Valley home wanted two matching 22″ by 30″ mirrors with 1-inch polished bevels, anchored over two pedestal sinks side-by-side. The bevels catch the wall-sconce light and add a subtle frame without any literal frame.
Other glass work
Beyond showers and mirrors, Paramus drives a healthy mix of backsplash and tabletop work — the older split-level kitchens are remodeling fast, and back-painted glass has been winning over a real share of those projects.
Back-painted glass kitchen backsplash
A renovated East Side kitchen ran a single 9-foot panel of back-painted glass in soft warm white behind the range and around the hood. No grout lines, no caulk seams to scrub. Templated around the hood, three outlets, and the cabinet edges; installed in a single afternoon.
Glass dining tabletop replacement
A dining table in a Forest Avenue home cracked at the corner. We measured the existing wood base, cut a new 3/8″ tempered top with polished edges and rounded corners, delivered it within a week.
Why Paramus chooses AGM
Forty-plus years of doing this from our two showrooms means we've already templated, fabricated and installed in nearly every Paramus block. The Lodi showroom is 12 minutes from your house — close enough that your measure is usually scheduled the same week you call. A few specific reasons we hear from Paramus customers:
- Templating, not measuring. Older Paramus homes have walls that aren't perfectly square. We template the exact opening on site after the tile is set, so the glass fits the wall as it actually is.
- One crew, start to finish. The person who templates your bath is the same shop that cuts the glass and the same crew that installs it. No subcontractors, no handoffs.
- Hydrophobic coating done right. Hard-water NJ etches uncoated glass within one to three years. Our factory-applied hydrophobic coating is multi-year, not the weeks-long retail spray.
Start your project
Two to three weeks from approved quote to glass on the wall is the standard timeline: a free in-home measure within days of your first call, one to two weeks of fabrication, then a single-visit install. Mention Paramus when you reach out and we'll route it to the right showroom.
